Question My white 14 year old daughter is in a new relationship with a 16 year old black lad. I have met him and think he is a really nice lad. But I am worried on how they will cope with the rest of society as I remember when I was a teenager, society was very unkind to people in mixed race relationships.

Well fortunately times have changed since then and I believe your daughter will be fine. Interracial relationships are becoming very common and most people really don't care that much anymore. So I doubt anyone will be unkind to her because of it. At the most people may give them strange looks but again this is becoming less common and it shouldn't be a big deal anymore. I think she'll be fine.
