AboutNafeesah Expertise I can answer just about everything about interracial dating and what you will expect to deal with if you are in one. I won't answer questions about the psychological elements because I don't have a background in psychology to answer that.
Experience I have been in two long term relationships with individuals who were biracial and I have experience in friends who have dated and are married to people who are of a different race.

Question Why do people make a big deal about a white woman being with a black/ African-American man yet if you ask a black man why he chose to be with a white woman rather than a black woman he will most likely tell you how they are "To ghetto""To loud" exc. and i think instead of us black woman complaining about it how about we learn how to calm ourselves down and try not to through ourselves out there as much. It's not as attractive as we think it to be. So until the day comes that we can learn to adapt and calm down a little more will be the day that they will take notice again. People what do you think? correct me if im wrong.
Answer This is what I don't understand about society and their reaction to interracial dating whether it's a white female to a black man or a black woman to a white guy. Here's my take on it why are black guys assuming that black females are ghetto and too loud when some black women think black guys are jerks and don't want to commit. Again all you can do is live your life who cares what other people think it's not about them it's about who you're happy with and if some people can't live with that oh well it's your relationship and your business. Who cares this is 2008 don't stop living your life you will have to deal with those who dislike interracial dating. You dating outside your race is proving that times are changing and you should date who you want and if he's a different color so be it. Not everyone will agree with IR, but its time to graduate to today's way of thinking where it shouldnt matter who you're with and what color their skin is. What you should care about is how the person cares and loves you for who you are.
