My mom is against my relationship with my black boyfriend, because she says that black men have a rep for beating women, drugs, no jobs and gang violence. How do i tell her that it is not just with black guys, and not all black guys are like that?

Hey Nicole
There is no best way to tell her. Just ask if you can talk to her about it and talk to her about it. Just mention how any guy, regardless of race can beat women do drugs or has no drugs. If you want even give her scientific statistics. But the point is to let her know that many men can do these things. And tell her how many black men are not like that and give her examples of black guys who were not into that and who are very successful in our county.
