what can i do or say to make them understand that just b.c im white doesnt mean i have to marry white

Answer
Hey Karolina
Honestly you can never really make your parents think a certain way. That's the way they think and the only way they'll change is if they force themselves to change. It's like if someone tried to force you to think interracial dating was bad. I mean they really couldn't cause it's your opinion and that wont change unless you let it to. don't worry they'll change eventually. And if they don't they'll just get used to the guy being around that race wont even make a difference after a while. Just be patient they'll come around. I know it's been 4 years and really long to you but maybe it'll take another year or 2 years or who knows how long. But they'll come around eventually or just get used to him and not even care anymore. I hope everything works out for you, and that your family will change their views on your relationship! Good luck with this guy! I wish you the best of luck!
Melissa
