Probaly a movie will be better. You don't want the first date to be akward. At dinner there is more of a chance that it can be really akward but if you do a movie then even if it's akward you can kind of focus on the movie. It might be good if you did a little of both though. Maybe not go to a sit in restuarant but not a fast food place either. Kinda like those outdoor stores. I don't know if you know what I mean. And I don't know where you live. I live in southern CA so you can eat outside in a casual restuarant but I don't know about how it is over there. But you can do both of a dinner and a movie.
