Question
Hi my name is chelsey and im 16 years old... i have been hiding my relationship with my boyfriend anthony 16 because he is black. My family does not accept that and there trying to make me choose them or him. But, i cannot do that.. i have been with him so long for like a year and a half. Hes the only thing that keeps me happy! I cannot just not be with him.

Answer
Hello
Well you are pretty young and it's probably best that you just stay with him and see what happens. I'm not saying your relatoionship is going to end but odds are that you guys will break up eventually. So just stay with him and enjoy the time you guys have togehter. If your parents continue getting upset about this, then just act like you guys broke up, but continue to see each other. The longer you are with him, and the older you become, the more likelier they will accept this relationship. So just give it time, and try not to talk about him much with yuor parents.
Melissa
