hey,
i have a problem...i just started dating a guy who is indian and i am white...i dont care about this though...my parents however do and there is no way of changing their opinion.  i have to break up with him but would it be rude to tell him the real reason why im breaking up with him?  my parents have no problem with me being friends with him they just dont want us dating...what do i tell him?

Tell him exactly what you just told me. I know it's hard to tell the truth, but it would hurt him worse if you lied! Let him know that you want to be with him, but you can't go against your parents will and maybe in the future they will see it diferently
