ANSWER: Hi, Siddharth

I'm sixteen although I don't feel age really matters in being an expert; after all it has to do with knowledge rather than physical ability.

Sloth bear vs Leopard: I know how fast and ferocious a leopard can be when forced to fight, although a sloth bear would probably be more than the cat can handle. These bears are often recognized as the most aggressive bear species, and they have terrible claws which can deliver a grisly slap. The leopard has a more formidable jaw, although it would have to get close too close to use it without recieving heavy-wounding injuries.

As for the differences between the African and Persian leopard, well, Persian leopards are larger (being the largest leopard subspecies) and often have a more yellow coat. Other than this, Indian leopards somewhat have larger spot, and of course, Indian leopards are found in India while African leopards are found in Africa ;).

Differences between a Nile and Saltwater crocodile? Saltwater crocodiles are slightly larger than Nile crocodiles, and more often than not have greener plates and scales. My experiences have also led me to believe the Saltwater crocodile is the fiercest crocodile species. You can find an anatomy comparison here -

Mugger crocodile vs Sloth bear? This one is more difficult, the sloth bear often has quite dull teeth and it would have a difficult time penetrating the crocodile's plates. It would probably be a rather even fight on land, as I know how powerful and resistant a bear can be, although the crocodile would likely have the advantage in shallow waters. Unless the bear could avoid the croc's jaws, which could cause serious injury with its thrashing and shaking.

King cobra vs Mugger croc... I believe the mugger croc would kill the cobra before its venom could take effect. This would be a very unlikely fight, however.

Striped hyena vs Spotted hyena: the striped hyena can make itself quite intimidating by erecting its fur and displaying its jaws, although it has less mass and strength than the spotted. I believe the spotted hyena would win.

Best regards,

QUESTION: Hi Fady
I asked your age just coz i Just wanted to know it & I tell you that even i think that knoweldge matters the most than Physical ability.

1) Tiger vs Sloth bear

2) u mean to say that Indian Leopards are bigger than African one. Can u tell me size & weight of both these species.

3) suppose if we put 1 Indian Tusker,2 Indian Black bear, 2 bengal tigers,2 Large Asiatic Lions in a big cage what will be the result & who will be the Last Animal Standing

4) 7 striped Hyenas vs Bengal Tiger

Answer
Hi, Siddharth

Sloth bears will sometimes drive tigers away, although the tiger has the advantage in most of these contests. Since the striped cat is much larger, faster, and better armed it would have the advantage in a hypothetical face off as well. But we shouldn't subestimate the bear either; its claws are still dangerous weapons.

African leopards generally weigh about 60 kilograms, wheras Persian leopards weigh about 65 kilograms. Of course, some individuals can be well below or above this average.

For your third and fourth questions, I'm really not too sure - striped hyenas live in pairs, and often alone. They wouldn't attack a tiger. About your third quesiton, I believe, I may be wrong that if the two lions were working togeather they would have the advantage over the other animals.

Best regards,
'   Fady
