i would like to know why Lions Strength & Power is been underestimated ?
I have read many articles were experts says lions dont do well aganist Tigers or bears or Large Crocs or Elephants etc.
Even when i was reading today ur last comment about lions of India you said that Tigers can easily kill Lion as they have 50% weight advantage .
Please Correct Me if I m Wrong ! ! ! !
Answer Hi, Siddharth
I never underestimated the lion's strength or power. They are very powerful creatures, with great strength.
While its true that an asiatic lion, even a male asiatic lion is no match for a bengal tiger. The reason is that the tiger is 50 kg heavier.
An average asiatic lion weighs 160-190 kg, while an average bengal tiger weighs at 200-250 kilograms, depending on the place, and is slightly smaller than the south african lion.
I've already answered tiger vs lion question alot of times. please check my past answers.
Lions can infact cooperate to kill larger animals than tigers. While its true that lions don't do well against bears. Crocs can kill lions in water, however on land its just the opposite. About elephants, a bull african elephant is too large for any tiger or lion to tacle.
