AboutFady D. Isho Expertise I can answer any questions dealing with any factor of interspecies conflcit, this being fighting styles, weaponry, "..." vs "...", animal interaction, food chians, food webs, etc...
I can also answer questions regarding mammals, and reptiles. Most particulary those of canines, hyenas, felines, ursids, crocodilians and constrictor and as well as venomous snakes. Although ridiculous questions will not be replied to. Among these animals, these are the ones I can help with the most: Anatomy/physiology Behavior; territorial, mating, hunting, and diet Conservation
Experience To date, I'm still finishing up high school. Although, I've had experience with animals both in and outside of the field. I've also read about animals (wild) most of my life.

Question im not sure exactly but another expert stated a couger can jump somthing like 25 foot vertically and 40 foot horizontally. is this true?
i find this very hard to belive. that is like jumping over a bus? also on a documentary they said a tiger jumped 4 meters of the ground to get a peice of meat but clearly the tiger was roughly 3 meters and jumped about 1.? looking at the gap from the floor. i dought a tiger can jump 4 meters.
also can i have the heavist weight for a great white shark please? and could this animal kill a 6 meter 5 ton bull elephant seal?
also the largest animal a 150 ton sperm whale will prey upon? for food?
135kg jaguar vs 160kg crator lioness.
by the way do jaguars come in contact with american crocidiles? and what is the outcome of the battles? ino they do with camens but isnt an american croc more formidable?
sorry for the number of questions but i hope you can help.
much appreciated/

Answer Hi, Jimmy
Cougars are regarded as king leapers amongst not only felines, but mammals to experts. A cougar can leap fifteen feet vertical, and fourty-five feet horizontal.
Tigers, are often regarded as second king leapers amongst felines after the cougar, and you bet a tiger can jump four meters vertical. Recent events at a San Fransico Zoo (the infamous tiger attack) confirm this. There is also more evidence of tigers attacking humans on elephants which would at least require four meters of height.
As for the white shark, there have been many controversies over the largest great white. Many sharks have been found to be grossly overexaggerated in size and others unconfirmed. However, the largest great white on record was caught off Cuba and was said to be 6.4 meters (21 feet)long and weighed in at 3,312 kilograms (7,286 pounds), the maximum girth of this animal was 4.5 meters. Of course, there have been unverified reports of 10 meter long sharks, and some scientists even believe the massive prehistoric shark Carcharodon (Charcharocles) megalodon, a massive whale-eating shark from the Pleistocene that was over 16 meters long.
Could the largest white shark kill a huge elephant seal? Well, I'm pretty sure in deep waters a white shark would have great chances, they are afterall designed in their teeth and jaws to slice and tear through sharp materials with ease, and an elephant seal would lose quite a lot of blood from a bite.
Now the Sperm whale, actually the blue whale (Balaenoptera musculus) is the largest animal, and it has been known to reach 190 tons. Sperm whales are mostly fond of Giant squid and octopus, however they will also eat fish.
For the lioness vs jaguar, I should mention that I generally don't answer questions with given weights do to silly past questions. However, I will make an exception this time.
Now, a 135 kilo jaguar would be quite rare, and such sized specimens would likely be found in Pantanal. 160 kilo lioness can be found in the Crater, and was the average for the Barbary subspecies, Panthera leo leo. Who would win in a fight? I believe a jaguar would have good chances against a lion even if it was 55 kilograms larger; jaguars are much stronger than lions and tigers relative to size. Unless the lioness was much more aggressive than the jaguar, the jaguar should have the advantage.
Jaguars and American crocs do coexist, however their range just overlaps and I have no reports on the interaction between the two species. But I'm pretty sure a jaguar could prey on them, they afterall prey on black caimans, which are about the size of an American croc.
