Question
Can the largest eagle out there, harpy or philipines eagle, can it take down and
prey on a cheetah??

and can single wolf that has starved and is desperate to feed, take on a cheetah
if that is the only other animal closeby??

Answer
Hi, Sarav

Well if a cheetah was aware of the eagle I think the bird would be at a disadvantage in a face off. It takes about ten Eurasian black vultures to scare a cheetah away from its kill, and of course as formidable as a Harpy or Philipinne eagle are they wouldn't be able to take on ten vultures. Birds, even super strong ones such as the Golden, Crowned, or Harpy, are fragile animals despite possessing enormous strength and a single bite or slash from a cheetah could break the bird's flying feather(s).

I'm sure a wolf would be able to defeat a cheetah, they are after all more resistant and powerful animals.

Best regards,
' Fady
