About Fady D. Isho
Expertise
I can answer any questions dealing with any factor of interspecies conflcit, this being fighting styles, weaponry, "..." vs "...", animal interaction, food chians, food webs, etc... I can also answer questions regarding mammals, and reptiles. Most particulary those of canines, hyenas, felines, ursids, crocodilians and constrictor and as well as venomous snakes. Although ridiculous questions will not be replied to. Among these animals, these are the ones I can help with the most: Anatomy/physiology Behavior; territorial, mating, hunting, and diet Conservation

Experience
To date, I'm still finishing up high school. Although, I've had experience with animals both in and outside of the field. I've also read about animals (wild) most of my life.

Question
hi fady,
who do you think will win btw megalodon and super croc?
i red that megalodons weight about 50 tons at most while the croc weight 8 tons,so it might not be the same outcome btw a whiteshark and a salty since size is the most important weapon in any interspecies conflict correct me if am wrong. thanks

Answer
Hi, John

I believe (I might be wrong) that the outcome between a supercroc (I suppose you are talking about Sarcosuchus imperator, the dubbed 'supercroc' which lived in the Sahara desert? If not, please write again) and megalodon would depend on the size of the animals, and the depth of the water which the fight took place. A very large crocodile would put up a good fight, and perhaps have the advantage over megalodon in shallow waters. Although in open waters the shark being much larger, and likely better adapted could kill the croc by biting it on its soft stomach.

Since these animals are both extinct however, and they are very obscure to science it's really impossible to say who would win for sure. Until we have more information on them, this is the best I can say. And lastly, I don't really believe size is the most important factor in an interspecies conflict, however that any factor can be the most important depending on the situation, for example a fight between a grizzly bear and an elephant would have size as the most important factor, whereas a fight between a walrus and a bull elephant seal would have weaponry as the most important factor.

Best regards,
' Fady
