Interspecies Conflict/Who will win

Question
Hi Jonathon i was wondering who would win the following conflicts.

Lion vs Polar Bear

Gorilla vs Wilder beast

kangaroo vs Orangutan

Lion vs 5 Raccoons
Thank you

Answer
Hi Andrew!

I'll be more than happy to answer your questions:

1. The Polar Bear no contest. One on one, the odds are all with the Polar Bear. Much heavier and has thunderous weapons. The Lion is tough and conditioned to fight, but there's no way a single Lion can beat a Polar Bear. One swipe will destroy a Lion.

A Polar Bear is agile too and can match the Lion's mobility.

2. A Gorilla would never engage in a fight with a Wildebeest.

The Wildebeest is very resilent, and will stamp and charge at the Gorilla enough to win. The Gorilla would have trouble quelling such an animal, having nor the aggression or experience of taking down large, hooved animals.

3. The Orangutan can win this by sheer strength. A Big Male would be able to supress the Kangaroo and dodge attacks from it's raking claws and feet, with it's great athletic ability. It could strangle or pound a Kangaroo if it gets it in it's hands.

4. A Lion could kill 10 Racoons in a few minutes never mind 5. A Lioness could.

Hope i answered your questions!

Expertise

I can answer any question on land carnivores. Big cats are my main area of expertise. I can answer questions on weight, behavior, and on any possible match-up among mammals, reptiles and insects, but the latter is less preferred. I am not very well informed with dinosaurs and prehistoric animals, so please refrain from asking me questions about them. Just modern animals please. Also questions on bite force are not the best, as they vary greatly.

Experience

I am a wildlife enthusiast. I have visited countless zoos globally to observe animal behavior, and i have also seen animals such as Rhinos, Elephants and Big Cats in the wild and synthetic environments. I watch nearly every animal documentary available, and have really acquired considerable knowledge of animals and animal conflicts as a result. I know a lot.

Publications
I have written several articles on Wikipedia. I also will soon start writing blogs about Big Cats.

Education/Credentials
I have a C grade at GCSE Science. However, nothing gives you more knowledge than experiencing animals in the flesh. No qualification can give you that kind of insight.
