Prof. R S S Mani has been active as a HRD specialist & Mentor in the areas of Education Management, Organizational Behavior and Career Guidance for over 18 years. He is currently involved in advising several blue-chip companies and business schools in Mumbai & other metros. He continues to contribute actively in Human Resource Development of the present & the future generation professionals. He has done his Masters in PM&IR from the prestigious TATA Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai and has been a gold medalist.
He is a HRD & Management Strategy expert, associated in value added interventions to many reputed companies in the domains of HRM, Institution Building & Edifying, T&D, Corporate Strategies, OB, OD, and allied faculties. He has been associated in training & consultancy activities with a large no. of corporate entities across the globe from various fields viz. Engineering, Chemical, Pharmaceutical, PSUs, IT & Software, FMCG & the Services sector in their HR related turnkey projects. He was also a former faculty member of TATA Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) associated with the personnel management department from 1989 – 1994 & was in-charge of organizing /conducting training programmes for many organizations throughout India. Question sir i have just done my post graduation in human resource managemnt from a premiere institute. i have joined a leading indian group but find the corporate life very boring.
i am intrested in teaching hr.
i wanted to ask
1)am i eligible to teach hr in b schools like ies, chetna , bgims , met , dalmiya , amity , icfai ?
2) what is the compensation offered in these colleges for teaching hr>
Answer U can easily get a visitIng faculty role in the management schools.The faculty honararium per hour for visitng faculty is approx Rs.400-Rs500 per hour..
Incase u are seeking a full time role,u may get an entry BUT to continue you will need to do your PhD over a period of 3-4 years & for a full time job could vary from 20k pm upwards depending upon the institute,your workload etc.
I would propose that u take on the VISITING FACULTY role first & then migrate to a full time role.
