I have an idea for a food product that I would like to protect from anyone else that might have a similar idea while I go through the process of finding a manufacturer and packaging center for it. What steps do I need to take to ensure that I can get it into the market without anyone copying it?
Answer Thanks for the question....I do not have experience in the food and beverage products, but I can give you som general info.
There are a couple ways that you can take this....1. I would consult an IP attorney to help you assess your product
2. I would focus on the product. 3. Find a professional that has taken a food product to market before. 3. Be financially prepared
as bribing a product to market will need a large budget. Finally, assess the opportunity and attain market research or pay to have it
done as soon as you can.....this will help direct your efforts and help you understand what it will take, from a time and financial point. I wish you luck and
