Inventing New Products/Inventions - Idea

Question
Hi Penny,
I recently had an idea and was very excited about it.  Unfortunately I feel i may have dived in at the deep end and submitted it to Lambert & Lambert.  After several internet searches I found a few complaints about them as scams!  Do you think this is people with sour grapes or are the a scam?

Many thanks

Answer
Hi Steven,

As to the first part of your question, I would have to read what they wrote to comment on it.

I've received (emails on file) and/or read online complaints dealing with quality of evaluations or receiving someone else's evaluation - in contrast to monies spent so I doubt "sour grapes" in all cases.

Let me just say I no longer refer to individual "evalators" as most will evaluate virtually anything -if a cheque accompanies each submission. It's the principle of no ticky, no laundry at work.

Instead, I refer to university evaluation programs as they encompass more bang for the buck in my personal opinion. True one spends more but on the other hand one gets what one pays for and, let's not forget they can be included in one's media kit (if the product is given a thumbs up). That said, if you have $850 (about ₤511.573) I suggest you go this route versus the $150-$250 path.

Let me know and I'll look up contact info for you.

Regards,
Penny Ballou
