Question
Hi Penny, thank you for your attention, I have a invented product for indoor house. This product "Register or Vent" has built in thermostat control function that regulates the amount of heat or cooling required for each individual room. The open and close of this register is controlled by the thermostat, result in a reduction of energy consumption. I would like to find a good advisor, investor company who want to work together,if they are really in the business (construction companies or suppliers)Thank you for your guidance !

Morning Armando,

Construction companies are a dime a dozen in the Yellow Pages and on the net. However, if what you have is an "invention" as opposed to a fully-finished market ready product, likely their only benefit would be to supply you to whomever they get their products or maybe to Home Depot,Lowes, etc.

Now, if you're seeking a Licensee to license your invention or product to, that's a different story. You'll likely need more than an idea or invention. Minimally do you have a working prototype or finished product to demonstrate use? I say this because the USA is now a "First to File" country and no longer a "First to Invent" country so the first time or anytime you show it to someone or publicly display it we, you may have violated your or a Licensees ability to apply for a patent on it. A licensee is likely going to invest a ton of money in your invention to bring it to market and will want something other than it to protect his investment so that he can do after copy-cats, if what you have is a WOW! product compared.

Has a patent search been done on it?
Have you applied for a patent?

I'd really have to know more to determine if you ready to find a Licensee. If all you want are supliers and you're putting up all the financing, as long as you realize the US is now a FTF country - they would be a dime a dozen.

The DOE has a department that is interested in new energy inventions.
