Question
my timer is working batteries are new but it doesnt open so the water can flow. whats up

Answer
Hi Mary Ann

Check the programming on the timer to ensure it's set up to water according to your schedule and make sure the current time is set correctly.  The interval dial on the left tells the timer when to open the internal valve.  For example, the "Daily" setting means every day watering and the 4th setting means that the valve will open every 4th day.

The "Set Start" setting is the time of day that the valve will open.

The dial on the right indicates how long the valve should remain open after the Start Time is reached.  For example, the "On" setting is a manual feature which opens the valve automatically, on demand, and the additional settings indicate the length of time the valve remains open after it reaches the "Set Start" time you program in to the timer.

If nothing works, you may have a "dud" and should return it to the retailer for an exchange.

Hope this helps.

Tony
