Irrigation - Irrigation controller

Expert: Jeff Wooten - 9/25/2009

Question
I have a James Hardie model RD600 controller which has functioned perfectly for about 15 years, but now all of a sudden I am having 2 stations come on at the same time, one of which is coming on although it is set for another day. The irrigation times do not agree with the settings either When I operate all the stations  individually on manual they operate OK

Answer
You can try to reset the controller by disconnecting the power supply and battery backup for about 5 minutes, then reconnect and see what happens.  However, I have direct experience with this model controller and to me you have probably got your money's worth.  Consider replacement.
