Irrigation - pressure switch and gauge installation
Expert: James Grote - 10/6/2006
Question this concerns my lawn sprinkler ststem. does it matter if I install the pressure switch and gauge between the well and pump, or after the pressureized tank, in the line to the sprinklers?
Answer Ben,
I'm thinking, I'm thinking. I drawing a picture for myself. The pressure switch and the need to go after the pump and before the pressure tank. The pressure switch is going to read the pressure in the tank and tell the pump to turn on when needed. The gauge needs to be aftwer the pressure switch. Youwill need it there to read the pressure in the tank and make adjustments to the pressure switch if needed. Jim
