Question QUESTION: Suppose you know something is bad but still you do it and intend to repent later, will such repentance be accepted??
ANSWER: Hello Roy
Well obviously the best course of action would be to not engage in that which we all ready know is forbidden...however, humans that we are we tend to forget at times...or just not care really when caught up in the heat of the moment so to speak....but God reminds us over and over that He is Most Forgiving and Most Merciful...sincere repentence is what is required....and then if its forgiven or not is up to God...I nor anyone can answer that question.
here's the problem though...what if you intend to repent later...and then die before that repentence can take place...then you in trouble right...so better to either avoid forbidden things all together or if you are seduced by temptation...then to repent as soon as possible...you dont know which sec is your last...right? And God knows best.

QUESTION: Oh, one last... How do you "do" repentance...?formally.. what's with the lol..?
Answer Hello again Roy
Repentance is done in several ways....either through prayer...the most basic form of repentance. In prayer we sincerely and with utmost humbleness repent of our sin and ask for forgiveness...and humbly beseech God to guide us away from what tempted us to sin in the first place...and to give us strength to avoid it in the future.
also...we can feed the poor...or take care of them in some capacity...with clothing...housing....money etc. We must do this only to please God...not to receive any reward from people etc...not to show off in other words.
Also we can apologize to the one we wronged...actually its believed we must receive forgiveness from the one we wronged before we die...other words the sin we did against them will be doubled on Judgement Day
Those are the most obvious ways we can repent. And God knows best.
sorry for the lol...was thinking of something else i guess.
