Question
QUESTION: Assalamu Alaikum , one day after my Isha Prayers I met some of My non Muslim friends with whom I was talking when suddently three guys came and started hitting two of my friends. I tried my best to keep away but I just could not do it. So since three were hitting two , I jumped and hammered one guy.

Please advice me as to what I should have done ? Is it correct what I did...

Please note that these friends of mine our peaceful non Muslims who respect me , help me and Insha Allah one day I will tell them the TRUTH....

Brother, I'm sorry to hear about this but what exactly would you like to ask and what is the truth you want to reveal to your friends, please clarify. Also what happened when you stabbed the man with hammer? Is he alive? Sorry I didn't got you question well.

QUESTION: Assalamu Alaikum , sorry for confusing you. What I meant by hammered is that I hit him on the first face. Just once. The truth that I meant was the Truth about the true religion. Islam.

I'm sorry as I don't know the whole phase of story I'm unable to give any judgment.

"And come not near to the orphan's property, except to improve it, until he (or she) attains the age of full strength; and give full measure and full weight with justice. We burden not any person, but that which he can bear. And whenever you give your word (i.e. judge between men or give evidence, etc.), say the truth even if a near relative is concerned, and fulfill the Covenant of Allah, This He commands you, that you may remember. [6:151 surah Al-An`am]

And for your 2nd question, WHY not? sure, go ahead and tell me if you need any help regarding this matter. Insha'Allah I'll try my best to provide you with references. Da’wah or calling others to Islam is the best of deeds and an honorable mission, because it involves guiding people to the Straight Path (sirat al'mustaqeem) and to that which will bring them happiness in this world and in the Hereafter:
“And who is better in speech than he who [says: ‘My Lord is Allah (believes in His Oneness),’ and then stands firm (acts upon His Order), and] invites (men) to Allah’s, and does righteous deeds, and says: ‘I am one of the Muslims.’”[Fussilat 41:33 – interpretation of the meaning]

There would be a great reward for you Insha'Allah. This is the work of the Prophets and Messengers. The Messenger (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) explained that his mission in life, and the mission of his followers, is to call people to Allah. Allah says (interpretation of the meaning):
“Say (O Muhammad): ‘This is my way; I invite unto Allah (i.e. to the Oneness of Allah) with sure knowledge, I and whosoever follows me (also must invite others to Allah, i.e. to the Oneness of Allah -with sure knowledge). And Glorified and Exalted be Allah (above all that they associate as partners with Him). And I am not of the Mushrikoon (polytheists, pagans, idolaters and disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah; those who worship others along with Allah or set up rivals or partners to Allah)’”[Yoosuf 12:108]

So, just keep up the spirit of doing something great in your life but with (khaloos) i.e. purely for sake of Allah exalted. Insha'Allah.

Allah Rahman accept your this 3mal (act/work) and make it easy for you to preach Islam and to call your non-Muslim friends towards Allah and give strength and power to your faith. Ameen Ya Rab!

“Our Lord! Forgive us our sins and the lack of moderation in our doings, and make firm our steps and secure us against those who deny the truth.”

ربنا افرغ علينا صبرا وثبت اقدامنا وانصرنا على القوم الكافرين
Our Lord! Bestow on us endurance and make our foothold sure and give us help against those who reject faith.
