Expert: Islamic Scholar - 4/30/2009
Question if wife do job to help out her husband, as husband salary is not enough to fulfill daily need these days. if wife parents ask her to give them some money also, even they are not poor, they earn more, their monthly expense are even more, they live in better house, when they get short of money they ask her daughter to give them money by different ways. they also think that its their right and husband has no right to ask her wife that why she helps them. please tell me what Islam says about it, does husband has no right to interfere in his wife matters and money
Answer The wife money belongs to her, and she could give it to her parents if she choose. However, if her parents are only using her, then that is a different situation.= - the husband could intervene and give his advice Inshaa Allaah.
