Question QUESTION: Asalamo alikum!
sir , can i go to have a hair cut in the ladies saloon? i do hijab and i just like to have a hair cut. I stictly avoid na mehrum's. Is it ok ? My other question is that should a lady have to cover his head while sitiing on the comort(toilet)? Thank you very much
ANSWER: Muslim Book 001, Hadith Number 0187.
------------------------------
Chapter : Beating of the cheeks, tearing of the front opening of the shirt, and calling the calls of the Jihillya (Ignorance) are forbidden.
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Burda that Abu Musa fell unconscious and his wife Umm Abdullah came there and wailed loudly. When he felt relief he said: Don't you know?-and narrated to her: Verily the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) said: I have no concern with one who shaved her hair, lamented loudly and tore (her clothes in grief).
This hadith is related to shaving. Its not clear for cutting hair. I cant give you a verdict on this.

cover her head when she had a call of nature? In the
bathroom? Jazak Allah
Answer Bismillahir-Rahmanir-Rahim (In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful)
Such question are tough to answer as there are no hadith on these topics. However as a precautionary measure you should cover your head and avoid cutting hair of head. However after Umrah you are required to cut short little of your hair.
