Question Assalamu alaikum. Dear brother, I was wondering if I could ask you a question about how to raise Islamic awarness in my home. I have started to pray and in doing so have attracted the eyes and ears of my family. My mother and father want me to focus more on school, and on life then on Islam. Answer I think you have to realise that school is important now as Islam and spreading it is a life long task whereas your school is a present duty and if you fail in doing this Allah will not be pleased. It takes knowledge and wisdom, patience and good courtesy to spread Islam at home. Start a home reading of hadith for 5 mins daily- this may help.
