I'm 26 years married man, my name is Amar Pasha.. After growin so old and speaking to many muslim brothers and scholars, finally I'm here to clarify my unresolved question.. So my question is should I change my name as there is no meaning of name 'Amar' in islam. But my (Late) grany used to say the meaning of 'Amar' in Ceeyar (Urdu Book) is 'Raaz' (Secret) is it true. and please tel if I should change my name. Cause I'm a muslim and would surely want to have a muslim name.

You do not have to change your name in Islam as there is no Muslim name- just good names in any language and if your granny says its a good name then it is and take solace that a companion had a similar sounding name.
