Question
assalam o alaikum
i would like to know, can we use threading machine for removing facial hair as someome told me that we cant use iron for removing hair, and threading machine has iron blade
secondly,if husband says his wife to do fashion, dont do hijaab while going outside, what should that wife do,while islam is in the favour of hijaab

Answer
Hello Maria

I have never heard about not using iron to remove hair...Im not sure where the person you heard it from got that information from. Muslims use razor blades to remove hair all the time...so I dont know why it would be considered forbidden. And Islamically speaking I dont know what would be the reason for not using it as well.

As for hijab....if you believe it to be a requirement of your religion then I suggest you have a talk with your husband and let him know that your unwilling to forgo that belief just to make him happy. He shouldnt advise you to do something you feel is against a  religious requirement.

I might mention though that hijab is not favoured by Islam...its favoured by cultures that have traditionally viewed covered women as being more pious and God fearing. There is no mention in the Quran that wearing hijab is an Islamic obligation...but if you believe it to be required and want to wear it...then wear it and convince your husband that you are sincere in your belief and wont abandon hijab for anyone. Good luck and God knows best in all things.
