Question
Hello,
Greetings and well wishes. I have a question about redemption or the workings of grace in Islam. Please forgive my ignorance, I have only begun learn about your religion.
I understand that in Islam they also hold the belifs of Abraham. Do these beliefs include when he was about to sacrifice Isaac, his son, then God intervened? If so, when in the muslim religion was the sacrificing of animals, which was practiced by Abraham, brought to an end? I know your religion also believes Jesus as a prophet. Are His teachings in the Quaran? Does the Quaran include the books from the prophets Daniel Ezekiel and Isaiah?
One last question. I have read that some Jews and Christians will go to heaven, but some won't. Please explain. Are the 'people of the book' good or bad?
Thank you so much for your time
Rachael

Answer
Good day

Muslims sacrifice animals during Hajj only. Every time any Muslim goes to Hajj he or she has to sacrifice an animal.

2- The teachings in the Quran represent the teachings of all previous prophets including Jesus Christ(peace be upon him).

3-Since Islam is the last religion that came from Allah, every one on earth who learned about Islam must become a Muslim. Simple comparison between Islam and any other religion reveals that Islam is the only true religion on earh today and will remain so till the domes day. If you learn about Islam and also discover that it is better than any other religion and still ignores this fact and does not become a Muslim then its Allah right to put you in hell. Why?? By not becoming a Muslim you are actually following a religion that has been twisted to suite peoples' desires. Following such a religion will certainly put on the side of evil.
