Answer The truth is sects are formed when people miss the spirit of religion.
Sunnis are the mainstream and Shiites, Ahmadis, etc.
When The Quran is seen as a rational scientific book, Companions are reviled, whimsical interpretations are prefered than classical then deviation begins.
