Whats it called when relious law is the same as state law

Hi Patrick,

Actually, that doesn't happen very often in most western countries. There are some exceptions though, like Ireland for example where it does happen often.

There's really no special name when religious and secular law intersect. Whatever the government of a country decides what the law of the land will be, that's the law of the land, regardless of whether those laws are religious or secular or both.
