Question
hi David, i have 3 questins this time.  1-are there other writings other than the bible that speaks of Gods will and the prophesies?
2-are the tribes of the Jewish people still separated?
3-do you know where Kedar and Tema are in Isiah 21?

i read that there is a baseline for different races regarding their I.Q's. the whites are slower than Asians etc.. if you stick with the same race your I.Q. will stay at the base rate.  anyways, this seems an argument against evolution. of course if we came from apes it explains why adam and eve ate that darn apple!

Answer
Hi again Debbie,

RE your first question. Anything written by Hal Lindsay. He's a born again Christian and an expert on Biblical prophesies, especially as it relates to events today. You don't have to be a born again Christian to appreciate his writings. Also, some say that the writings of Nostradamus are based on Biblical prophesies. If you look up both their names on wikipedia, you might be able to access some of their writings online instead of schlepping yourself to a store or library.

RE question 2, the answer to that is yes and no. For centuries, they were, and contact with other Jews happened only once in a while. To an extent, it's still like that today, but more and more, the lost tribes are being found. Twenty years ago, it was the Ethiopian Jews, today, it's the descendants of the ancient Israelites tribes in India and Myanmar. I recommend the website www.shavei.org. I think you'll be really interested in it.

RE question 3. Kedar could mean 1 of 2 things. Either the ancient Land of Kedar which was located in what is today Ukraine, or the nomadic tribe of Kedar which originated in northern Arabia and was known as a tribe of wealthy and powerful merchants who would often trade with the people of Jerusalem. Tema is an oasis town, today known as Tayma and located in northern Saudi Arabia. In ancient times, it was a very influential city-state in the region.

RE your last statement. IQ and race are not linked. IQ and hard work are. Asians only SEEM smarter because their culture values hard work more than others.

Whether man was created according to the Book of Genesis or the Book of Darwin has been, and continues to be, the subject of debate. On this one, you'll have to form your own personal conclusions.
