Answer
Hi Fouad,

Sorry I took so long to get back to you. Computer problems.

Of course I hope that Israel lasts forever. It is the ancestral homeland of the Jewish people and the only one at that. However, sometimes, I myself wonder if Israel can last. There is so much infighting among Jews, especially between the left and the right (or what Israelis perceive to be the left and right) that it makes one wonder whether Israel is headed for civil war. Also, the perverted way Israelis view their country. Not only do Israelis refuse to acknowledge their history going back thousands of years, but what other people in the world view the heart of their country as nothing more than a militarily vital piece of land for security? How utterly pathetic. I would think even Germans have a higher opinion of their country than Israelis do theirs.

I honestly haven’t heard about Prime Minister Olmert not believing that Israel has a future. But that wouldn’t surprise me. He is a typical Israeli who has no connection to his country, knows nothing about the history of his country, and really wouldn’t even care if he did.

When he was prime minister, he instituted many repressive measures against Jews, especially those living in Judea and Samaria. He would free Arab terrorists, look the other way on illegal Arab building while summarily destroying illegal Jewish building, and bending over backwards trying to negotiate peace with the “Palestinian Authority” while imprisoning his Jewish opponents. He simply didn’t want to harm the Arabs too much which is why the fiascos in the Lebanon War and Operation Cast Lead in Gaza – two “anti-terrorist” operations that accomplished absolutely nothing.

Just recently, Olmert claimed that he was diagnosed with cancer. In fact, he was in such poor health and in so much pain, that he accepted a position to lecture at a university in Kazakhstan.
