I'm from India, working in Dubai for the past 10 years. I've been wondering why Hitler killed 600,000 jews during World War - II. Why particulary jews ? What was the reason behind it? Was it just because jews took side with the coalition? I asked this question to many, but nobody could give me a proper answer? If you can enlighten my knowledge it shall be highly appreciated.

Hope you're having a nice time in Dubai.
First of all, Hitler didn't kill 600,000 Jews, he killed 6 million. There are probably several reasons why no one you asked could answer why he did this? If you ask the average person in Dubai, you simply won't get an answer. There is, at present in the Arab world, a debate, over whether the Holocaust actually happened or whether it was a good thing. The hatred Arabs feel toward Jews since Israel achieved independence is about at the same level as in Nazi Germany. Europeans won't give you an answer because they simply don't care. Or they use the Holocaust for their own sick political purposes (i.e. against Israel). And non-Europeans won't answer because, after all, the Holocaust took place in Europe by Europeans against Jewish residents of Europe. You can't expect an individual living in the interiors of India to know about this subject.
But to simplify the answer of why Hitler murdered millions of Jews, it all boils down to this: why do people hate Jews so much that they want to kill them. So many excuses have come up over the centuries, all based on lies. Why this is so, I honestly don't have an answer for you. This is really a question for a psychiatrist, if he can answer at all.
