Expert: daniel Date: 6/22/2008 Subject: My 95' Isuzu Trooper A/C quit blowing cold.
Question Just recently all four power windows wouldn't go up. My husband found that something in the fuse box came loose and he just had to push it back in. The next morning I get into the trooper to go to work and realize the a/c is blowing but not cold. The a/c was working just fine until now. We purchased our trooper used this past February and I really do love this vehicle. We took it to a local shop today and the mechanic wasn't sure why it's not blowing cold. He says the wiring may be bad. Could this really be? Please help with any advise. Also... if this is true is it an expensive fix?
Answer Well if it blowing but not blowing cold then you could have a cycling switch that is bad or the actual compressor clutch is not engaging Stephanie. I would recommend having a voltage test done. A pressure test and refill and these will tell you a great deal on whats wrong/not wrong with it and it should only run you about 100-150.00 dollars which is not bad at all. If you have any questions though please dont hesitate to ask okay?
