Subject: O Rings or freeze plugs?

Question
98 rodeo isuzu- leaking water from radiator, coolant and antifreeze runs straight thru too. Where could this leak be coming from? Dealer says its an o-ring issue? what is this and where is it located? also, are o-rings and freeze plugs the same thing? water is flowing it appears behind the engine where we can't see it??? please advise, thanks.

Answer
Well Rachel. It could be leaking from several areas as there are several coolant by-pass hoses that run underneath the intake manifold and also your water pump could be the culprit. Is it leaking from the top of the engine? Middle?Bottom? If you can tell then we have a much better chance of finding that evil leak okay?
