Question I have a 1995 pickup 4 cylinder 2.3 liter,100,000 miles. check engine light is on,blink code 34 egr short by the hyanies manual.By the book it isn't there?any ideas?

Answer Are you sure its not a MAP(Manifold Absolute Pressure) sensor failure David? I think that is on the 3.1 engines though if I can remember right. You could try testing the Egr to see if it either just gunked up or if there really is a problem with the wiring as well. I am here so please dont hesitate if you have any more questions okay?
