Question Dear Dan:
I need to chage the valve cover gaskets on my 95 isuzu rodeo 6 cylinder automatic. I have a question about the material of the gaskets. Do you know if there is much difference in quality from one valve cover gasket to another or are they all basically pieces of rubber, and as long as they fit that's all that matters?

Answer Well the material varies greatly Eric. It consists of everything from cheap cork. to a high quality Neoprene or even a rubber/nitrile mix. So make sure to either get a good quality or an in-between price okay? Or you could be using the Nike express going the cheap and easy way.
