I can save you a LOT of time etc-Have a 2001 Rodeo Sport Trooper.



To refill from topside (passenger) look for a 1/2Dia black  trans vent tube close to the engine under the wiper- kinda hard to spot- ie under the passenger wipers. First warm the engine

about 5 min at idel will work.  Place a funnel- in the

vent tube add transmission fluid and sit back -I

had to squeeze the plastic tube a bit- when it drops out below-

its full for now.



Drive a few miles and repeat - you'll have to add a bit .



DO NOT change trans fluid unless you have to- often times it does not help-



Run a little from below- to see if its still a little red leave it .
