Question
This version of the song "Torna a Surriento" is identified as Neapolitan lyrics. I have trouble translating these two lines from the song:
Comme tu a chi tiene a' mente,
Ca scetato 'o faie sunna.
It seems the spelling is unconventional and the meaning of the words is also ambiguous. Can you translate these two lines?
Thank you.

Answer
Hello,
the first four lines of "Torna a Surriento" can be translated as follows:

Vide'o mare quant’è bello,
spira tantu sentimento,
Comme tu a chi tiene a' mente,
Ca scetato 'o faie sunnà.

Look at the sea how beautiful it is,
it inspires many feelings,
like you do with the people you care about,
you make them dream while they are awake.
