Question
Dear Maria,

Would you please verify if the following sentence is translated correctly:

Chiedimi pure delucidazioni, se hai qualche dubbio.
You may ask me details, if you have any doubts.

Thank you.

Sincerely,

Rich

Answer
Dear Rich,

“Chiedimi pure delucidazioni, se hai qualche dubbio” translates as  “You may ask me explanations, if you have any doubts”.

In fact, the term “delucidazione”, which is a synonym of “chiarimento”, means “explanation” rather than “detail” that in Italian would be “dettaglio” or ”particolare” as in "Raccontami tutti i particolari del tuo viaggio" or "Vorrei avere maggiori dettagli sull'argomento".

Kind regards,

Maria
