Dear Maria,

Would you please tell me if the following translations are all correct.

Il bambino è dalla nonna.  
The young boy is at his grandmother’s.

Marco è da suo padre.  
Marco is at his father’s.

Ho lasciato la mia valigia da mia madre.  
I have left my suitcase at my mother’s.

Era dalla parrucchiera.
She was at the hairdresser’s.

Adesso sono dal dottore.
Now I am at the doctor’s.

In questo momento mio marito è dal barbiere.
At this moment my husband is at the barber’s.

Mangeremo da “Vittorio.
We will eat at Vittorio’s.

Marco è a casa di suo padre.
Marco is at his father’s house.

Ho lasciato la mia valigia a casa di mia madre.
I left my suitcase at my mother’s house.

Adesso sono nello studio del dottore.
Now I am in the doctor’s office.

Era nel negozio/salone della parrucchiera.
She was at the hairdresser’s shop.

In questo momento mio marito è nel negozio del barbiere.
At this moment my husband is at the barbershop.

Mangeremo nel ristorante di Vittorio.
We will eat at Vittorio’s restaurant.

I congratulate you on your translations: they all are correct.

The only remark I could make is that you could say “Now I am in the doctor’s surgery” as well as “Now I am in the doctor’s office” just to say that you are in the place where you can go to see your doctor.
