Question QUESTION: Dear Stefano,
I am planning a trip to L'Aquilla and wanted to know if I could take a bus from Leonardo Da Vinci Airport including my luggage. Also, after visiting L'Aquilla, I plan on going to Avezzano. Is there a bus that I could use instead of the trains?
Thank you so much.

ANSWER: Here is bus schedule between Rome and L'Aquila: http://www.arpaonline.it/?page=or_laroma Note the bus leaves not from the Fiumicino airport but rather from the Tiburtina train station in central Rome.
There are many buses also between L'Aquila and Avezzano. Again, go to the ARPA site. You need just put in the two towns: L'Aquila and Avezzano. Here is an example: http://ro.autobus.it/ro/asp/RicercaOrari.asp?User=arpa
QUESTION: Dear Mr Ulissi,
I hate to be a pest, but my knowledge of this computer and the internet is slim. I was able to get the schedule out of Rome, but had no luck with L'Aquilla to Avezzano.
Also, do you think luggage would be a problem?
Thank you once again,
Dorothy
Answer the second question is the easiest: There should be no problem with the luggage. No charge to take on the bus. I have traveled this line with suitcases several times. The larger pieces go under the bus.
