Italy - Exploring Costal Towns

Question
I am currently studying in Florence Italy and my parents are coming to visit me for about 10 days. We will be spending two nights in Florence but then they would like to rent a car and explore costal towns in Italy. I have only been to Cinque Terre and though it is very lovely I'm not sure it would be the best place to go for a whole 7 days. I'm also thinking about Venice and especially Sorrento because of all the places we could see on the way. What do you think would be the best option?

Answer
Dear friend,

seven days for exploring Italy from top to bottom (Venice-Sorrento) they seem to me rather stressing and not adviceable, but all depends on your will.
Best, according my thought,to concentrate and dedicate the short time you have to the north or the south of Italy.
North : Ofcourse Venice and the palladian villas + to west the Lago di Garda and reaching then the 5 Terre.
South: Rome,Neaples, the Amalfi coast, island of Capri catching boath in Sorrento.

All this thinking to rent a car.

Hoping to have been of some help to your queries,

Ciao,

Territalia
