Italy - luggage storage at train stations

Expert: P L Byrne - 7/12/2007

Question
Can we store luggage at the train stations in Rome, Florence and Venice? Is there somewhere on-line I can print out train schedules for Italia, I cant seen to find it on tenitalia

Answer
Yes, there is luggage storage in all of those train stations. Look up for a large sign BAGGAGLI.

On trenitalia, you have to put in each city pair and a starting time to get schedules. RailEurope isn't really any better.

If you are traveling this summer, best to buy your tickets ahead of time, the fast trains fill up.
