About Nancy Pratt
Expertise
My main area of expertise is the character of Admiral A. J. Chegwidden portrayed by actor John M. Jackson. I created and maintain "The Admiral Fact Book," which covers all information known about the Admiral so far from the show. However, I have watched JAG since the first episode and been involved in on-line JAG Fandom for several years and believe I can answer most general questions about the show.

Experience
I run the John M. Jackson Admiration Society, the unofficial fan club of actor John M. Jackson, and maintain its website. I also was involved in putting on the first ever JAG Convention and then went on to found the JAGFanFest - both west and east coast events. I have met almost all the actors as well as many of the writers, directors, and production staff. I occasionally write JAG fanfic, and I am the editor of The Jackson Journal, the on-line newsletter of the JMJAS.

Question
QUESTION: The show ran for ten years -- did the Admiral ever come back to JAG?   I would like to have a copy of every show they produced!  I liked all the characters and the good things they represent about people and our good ole USA!

ANSWER: The Admiral was head of JAG for the first 9 seasons.  We did not see him at all in Season 10.  They brought in a new character of a Marine general to take over as the JAG.

So far the first 4 seasons of JAG are out on dvd with Season 5 due out in late January.  They are coming out with 2-3 seasons per year, so within a few more years you will be able to have every show.  :)

---------- FOLLOW-UP ----------

QUESTION: Thank you so much for answering the above question.

New question:  What is the name of the theme song?

Answer
Sorry - I missed the follow-up question.  As far as I know, it's simply called "The Theme from JAG."  I have heard you can get the sheet music, either in simplified form or for full band, through Music Dispatch, at (800) 637-2852. The full-band is also reportedly available from J.W. Pepper, (800) 345-6296, catalog #23-33-37-5.

"The NATIONALE TAPTOE BREDA 1997" is a CD which includes, among many other selections, the JAG theme song. Great Lakes Music is one source for this CD: http://www.greatlakesmusic.com/wwmmil.html, (440) 423-1576 (WWM 500.028, $18.95)

I got the references for the music from an on-line website; I don't know how accurate it still is, but it's the only place I've seen that had anything on it.
