However, I have watched JAG since the first episode and been involved in on-line JAG Fandom for several years and believe I can answer most general questions about the show.

Question I only saw bits and pieces of the show when it was on the air but have since been able to catch a lot of the episodes on the USA cable channel. My question is,what happened to Renee? The show I just finished watching was when Mac and Brumby were going to luch to set a wedding date and Harm was clearly "bothered" - there was also a conversation between Harm and Renee that made one think he really cared for her. I thought they were a perfect couple and she was CRAZY about him - too bad that didn't work out! How did that relationship end? Thanks!

It's been a while - let me see if I remember. Brumby broke up with Mac after she was hesitant to reschedule the wedding until Harm was fully recovered from his accident. She called Harm to tell him, and he convinced her to come to his apartment. When she got there, Renee was with Harm. Her father had just died, and so Harm and Mac never got to talk. Renee went home for the funeral. Harm joined her there briefly but had to leave after a day or so to get back to JAG HQ. While Renee was with her mother back home, she reconnected with her high-school sweetheart (I believe that's who it was), and they decided to get married. She didn't really expect that Harm would ever do that.
Most fans did not seem to like Renee; they all wanted to see Harm and Mac get together. I agree with you that Renee was a much better match for Harm, and I think he really did care for her, but just not enough to let go of his fantasies about Mac.
