AboutNancy Pratt Expertise My main area of expertise is the character of Admiral A. J. Chegwidden portrayed by actor John M. Jackson. I created and maintain "The Admiral Fact Book," which covers all information known about the Admiral so far from the show. However, I have watched JAG since the first episode and been involved in on-line JAG Fandom for several years and believe I can answer most general questions about the show.
Experience I run the John M. Jackson Admiration Society, the unofficial fan club of actor John M. Jackson, and maintain its website. I also was involved in putting on the first ever JAG Convention and then went on to found the JAGFanFest - both west and east coast events. I have met almost all the actors as well as many of the writers, directors, and production staff. I occasionally write JAG fanfic, and I am the editor of The Jackson Journal, the on-line newsletter of the JMJAS.

Question Hi Susan,
I've watched tons of JAG episodes and love the series. I'm trying to collect some DVDs and was wondering if there is a good website which summarizes ratings of the JAG episodes. If I were to buy only one season of JAG, which season has the best episodes. Thanks!

Answer Hi Steven,
This is a really tough question. Which season had the best episodes is very subjective. If you're a Harm/Mac fan, then your answer may be very different from the answer given you by someone who does not like Harm and Mac as a couple or by someone whose favorite character is someone other than Harm and/or Mac. In general, I would say that most fans loved Season 3. There was quality Harm/Mac interaction as well as good screen time for other characters and some of the best (IMHO anyway) episodes came from that season. Season 4 was also a general fan-pleaser. The other seasons all have their champions and their detractors.
This website, http://www.onscreen-credits.com/JAG/, has a listing of all of the episodes along with a synopsis of the plot from TV Guide and other on-line resources. There are no ratings, though. This site has fan reviews of all the episodes, but again no ratings. http://www.rosepetaldesign.com/jagreview/ Both are good sites that have a lot of information. I am not aware of any site that gives ratings for the episodes. The first site I mentioned used to have the Nielsen ranking for each episode, but for some reason they took that information down.
I hope this helps you, but if not, let me know, and I'll try to point you to a few more sites. These are the two best, IMHO, though.
