And if he doesn't respond to a letter, or read it, would I get a letter back saying something like "thanks", so I know that it got sent?
Answer You could send a package yes. And it is more likely that it could be given to him.
Based on my sources, there are no records that Mr. Jackson has responded to letters from (1980 - 2008). I am not sure whether they would give a thank you note. Personally, I don't think so.
