Question QUESTION: Hey Marcus- I asked yoou about some books to read a while back and suggested a couple but warning me there is n't much out there. I read bnoth that you suggested, one of which I enjoyed a lot "Michale Jackson the Magic and the Madness". But some questions stemmed from that if I can bother to ask you and maybe you won't know but
Do you know if Lisa Marrie and Michael are still friends??(I have to admitt that was the most shocking thing to me that they shared such a sexual relationship.)Do you know if he is married now I heard he was married to his Nanny?
Do you think he'll perform again in the US?
And
Did he really hire a witch Doctor to place a curse on enemies?
That sounds so 'out there' even for him.

On to the questions...
Any relationship with Michael Jackson is a strained relationship. Imagine your best friend, if you have one, is constantly being bombarded with fans, touring, recording albums, fanfare everywhere you turn. Pretty stressful, right? I am not saying that Michael Jackson is best friends with Lisa Marie. No. They did not divorce on bad terms, it was just not the right place nor the right time. They are definately still friends, just not in a conventional type of way.
He is not married now. The rumor with the Nanny is over. Although, I did hear he gave her the boot recently. LOL.
He may perform in the US again, but to be honest, I don't think it would be a good idea. His largest fanbase is overseas. The Thriller 25 album did far better there than here. The same can be said for his other recent releases going back to Invincible.
I heard about the witch doctor. The jury is still out on this one - but people with money can afford some pretty fantastic things. I would put this is the MAYBE pile with Uri Gellar! The witch doctor was supposedly hired to put curses on Steven Speilberg, Paul McCartney, and some lawyers. lol. MAYBE!

What happened with Steven Speilberg? They had a falling out?
ANSWER: During the 1994-1995 sessions of HIStory, Michael Jackson wrote some pretty offensive lyrics about Jewish people in the song "They Don't Really Care Abut Us."
Steven Speilberg took great offense to it and terminated the friendship. Michael is not very good about mending friendships with people whom he has disenfranchised. For example, look at Paul McCartney. They have been fueding ever since Michael's purchase of the Beatle's cataloge in the late 80s. Since then, Michael has released the rights of songs to Apple, Nike, Gatorade, and most recently a Las Vegas Casino to do a reoccuring show with Cirque Du Solei.

QUESTION: Yes,I know that Michael's strength is not forgiveness. But I have to say don't you think it's amazing what he was able to forgive LaToya for? In my opinion that would a deal breaker for me...
Has he forgiven his father? Joseph seemed to be a huge support during the 2005 trial?
Does he still have issues with Debbie? Was it because she cooperated with the prosecutors?
I didn't know that Michael released rights of the songs.
At any rate I believe him to be the greatest entertainer ever and a kind person thats been through a lot.

Answer The story on LaToya goes - during the first child molestation issue - LaToya came on the scene saying that she believed Michael was guilty of what he was being accused of.
Years later, during the divorce from her husband Jack Gordon, LaToya proclaimed that Jack was forcing her through violence to talk about Michael and the family for monetary purposes.
LaToya returned home a couple of years later with open arms. That is the great thing about the family - through thick and thin - they are still a family that loves each other. Sure, they turn their back sometimes, but what family doesn't?
The same for Joe Jackson. Sure, Michael came out in 2003 and announced to what we had known for years as physical abuse to the Jackson children. More importantly, LaToya also said that Joe Jackson sexually molested the oldest Jackson, Rebbie.
The family still rallies together despite what all has happened. The matriarch and the patriarch of the family (Katherine and Joe) including siblings all showed support for Michael during the trial.
On to Debbie...
According to the latest, Michael is having issues with Debbie regarding the recent release of pictures showing the children's faces. During the trial, some secret transaction between Debbie and the Jackson camp stated that she would play more of a role in the Jackson's lives (Michael and the children) that at the time was almost non-existent.
Since the trial into today, she has sued Michael for extra alimony, and vested child visitations with Prince and Paris.
She may have testified in the trial for the prosecution, but the testimony was far from what the prosecution wanted. They assumed she was sail Michael up the river - but she did exactly the opposite. This is why Debbie was so upset when none of the secret transaction occured.
So are there still issues?!? Probably - but not for what you think.
About the released songs...
Yes. Michael currently owns 25% of the ATV/Sony cataloge, which holds songs from today's big artists such as Beyonce, Usher, the Dixie Chicks, Rhianna, the Beatles, his own songs, and many, many more.
