Did Michael Jackson have a relationship Joanna Thomae? She was just 20 years old. It's rumored that he got her phone number during a CD signing in N.Y. in 2001. She claims to have lived with him and that he proposed. I also heard that she was dating Frank Tyson, Michael's security guys and friend and that she was a fan and worked at Neverland. Answer Hello Katie Thank You for your question. It is correct that michael did ask for her phone number at the Virgin Megastore CD signing for his Cd release of Invincible. She mentioned that she had come from paris to meet him, He asked her where she was staying and she mentioned that she was staying with a friend. He did ask her if she had a phone, When he went to get something for her to write the number on, His security guards stated that they would get the number and get it to michael, and she did come back and he did get her number. Joanna, who was fascinated with michael jackson, actually met michael in 1996 in monaco. He was there for the World Music Awards. He was shopping in a record store, He was with his bodyguards, Joanna was 13 years old. She stated in a french article, that she saw him and asked his bodyguards if she could approach him and they agreed, She did not speak english, But he gave her a hug. After that she followed him around. She attended his concerts. Their relationship started in 2002, when she met him in London, and michael invited her to come to Neverland sometime. She did not. Later Michael saw her again in Las Vegas and invited her again to Neverland, But she had to go back to France. Michael called her, but it was in the middle of the night, so he left a message in her voicemail, kind words and that sort of stuff. She has kept the message, she still has it.
